Ms Steggall is a barrister who practises predominantly in commercial, sports and family law. She graduated from Queenwood in 1991 and became one of Australia’s most successful Olympic athletes. Her competitive skiing achievements include: Australian National Champion (13 years); four-time Olympic representative; World Alpine Skiing Champion (1999); and Australia’s first ever individual medallist at the Winter Olympic Games (Bronze, 1998, alpine slalom).

She combines her legal and sporting expertise in her work as an Arbitrator to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, member of the Anti-Doping Rule Violation Panel for ASADA, Vice Chair of the Football NSW Appeals Tribunal and director of the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia and the Sport Australia Hall Of Fame.

Ms Steggall was inducted into The Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2004 and awarded an Order of Australia Medal for her contributions to sport and charities in 2007.
