Careers Guidance
The Careers Guidance Department gives access to a variety of services helping students plan their futures. A full time Careers Counsellor is available and an extensive library of career and course information is maintained. Updates in Queenwood News Weekly inform students of Open Days, courses, scholarships and Gap year opportunities.
In the final years of schooling interviews are conducted with students to discuss subject choices and suitability for possible career paths. Students are given support in seeking information on tertiary studies and career options. Work experience arranged late in Year 10 provides girls with a chance to gain some knowledge of fields they may be interested in after leaving school.
