The Arts

We encourage and foster a love of the arts

We pursue excellence in the arts, helping girls develop their creative talents and their critical and academic interests.

We encourage and foster in our girls a commitment to the arts. Each girl has the opportunity to express herself creatively, cultivate self-awareness and deepen her understanding of others. As she engages with the art and artefacts of different times and cultures, she learns about the world and her place in it.

Through exploring the implicit spiritual and moral relationships between the artist, artwork, observer and culture, she comes to appreciate the importance of the uniquely human creative response.

VANESSA LI
YEAR 12

For me, the most memorable part of Queenwood is the classroom; I love the way discussion and debate arise every lesson.
