From the age of 14, all Queenwood students have the opportunity to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme working their way through levels of achievement beginning with the Bronze Award, followed by Silver and Gold.

The goal setting and commitment required to complete these awards serves to build a sense of responsibility in participants.

Each award requires the student to complete various levels of community service, skills development and physical challenge. The completion of each level represents a personal achievement for every student.
