Location

Located on Sydney's lower North Shore Queenwood School for Girls enjoys a beautiful setting amongst the leafy streets of Mosman, with the Junior School campus and Senior School campuses on separate sites but close enough that whole school events can be shared.

The Junior School is within walking distance of local ovals and parks, harbour foreshore walks and facilities such as Taronga Park Zoo, Mosman Swim Centre, the Municipal library and regional art gallery.

The Senior School campus and Art School enjoy extensive views over Balmoral, Middle Harbour and North Head. The contemporary design of the campus completed in 2004 at 47 Mandolong Road, optimises the prime site and its outlook.

With close proximity to Balmoral Beach, field studies in Science, Geography and Visual Arts take advantage of the natural environment on the doorstep.

Queenwood is easy to reach by public transport. Buses stop at the entrance to Junior and Senior Schools. Girls travel to school by bus, train or ferry from the Northern Beaches, the Upper North Shore, Lower North Shore, the Inner West and Eastern suburbs.

The Northern Beaches Transport Group coordinated by the Queenwood Parents Association is an initiative that offers families living in the region the benefit of car-pooling and general assistance in transporting girls to school and sport.
